As a full time internet and affiliate marketer I make it my business to study new tactics and strategies. Where do I find this information? Well for one I spend a fair amount of time networking with other leading marketers online, I have a core group of friends / marketers and we share openly what is working in the ever changing world of internet marketing.

The amount of quality internet marketing information that is shared via youtube.com is amazing (I also just like video, tv generation and all).

Lastly I also buy lots and lots of internet marketing courses, in fact over the last year I have picked up dozens and dozens of new ideas which I have converted into money. Case and point, check out the screen shot below ….

This image was captured on February 27, 2009. It was taken from a brand new site I launched as a case study, staying on top of marketing trends and tactics has it’s rewards and on January 13th and 14^th the site did about 10,000 unique visitors and made me some nice cash to boot.

That is NOT even the half of it however ….

• I spent maybe 10 days working about 2 hours a day setting things up
• I have not updated the site (myself) in months
• The site is now writing itself (thanks to my new wordpress comment system)

• The site simply dominates the search engines
• Most importantly I have just one more passive income stream that took me about 20 hours to set up.

As mentioned above this site is based on wordpress, and nearly all the posts on the site have a tremendous amount of comments. This means my content is always fresh, changing and as mention Google loves this little case study… check out the comment images below.

Where did I come up with this brilliant marketing idea?

Quite simply I stole some tactics from Saj P, the author of a new course that is launching at the end of March. I then added some of my own “ritual marketing secrets” and moved forward with my case study (the American idol site mentioned above). 1. Be realistic with your goals online and understand that it will take some effort on your part. You must take action to succeed with affiliate marketing today.
2. Find a good mentor or mentors and shadow them, do what they are doing to make money online. Do not try to reinvent the wheel, find out what is working and do that.
3. Making $200 a day is a great goal to have, it starts with learning how to make $2 a day.
4. Join a membership group and stick around long enough for the magic to happen.
