I use lots and lots of tools to automate certain jobs. I try NOT to cut corners when it matters ... like content for instance. I too have noticed a significant drop in Adsense since the start of the month but haven’t attributed it to smart pricing. Whenever I see a rise or fall at the start of the month, I assume it has something to do with alterations made to the revenue share.

At first I thought it was just natural advertiser turnover. New advertisers with new campaigns bidding different amounts but such changes take place constantly throughout the month which makes the start of a new month insignificant.

The last time I saw such large a change was January 1st of this year when my earnings increased dramatically after a very slow December. It does feel a lot like someone flicks a switch from time to time :)

Well done once again on the 6K milestone…one day I hope to celebrate such an event too :)
