I Need Your Help

Today I created a new catagory on my blog that I will use from time to time in hopes of getting responses back from readers like you. While I feel I am an advanced marketer and have some very solid ideas about making money online I sure don’t know everything and I have a lot of questions. This new catagory called “Need Your Help” and will give me an opportunity to ask you a question or get your opinion on something. Truly that is one of the great aspects of blogs, that they allow for interaction between site admins and site visitors.

If you don’t mind I would like to ask you a question, your answer will help me create a marketing blog that is truly useful for others online and will help them to increase their online earnings.

  1. Ask what you want about affiliate marketing? at icooltools.com on June 7th, 2006 1:04 pm

[...] Ever wished you can just ask anything you want to an expert affiliate marketer. Well now you can. Brian Johnson at My Affiliate Programs has just started a new category on his blog. [...]

Great idea for a category Brian. I’ve tried to do a similar thing with a survey plugin in Wordpress, but getting raw opinion is very valuable and I’m sure this will attract some great questions. Personally I am interested in advanced affiliate marketing strategies more than adsense. Also building mailing lists - something I know I need to do, but just never get around to.

By the way your blog is looking great now.

Thanks for the comment, I will surely be share ideas about affiliate marketing as well as good affiliate programs to the blog. Last week I started to add some new affiliate programs. About building mailing lists, I hear ya on that one. Creating and maintaining a list has not been easy over the years however tools online like aweber are making it much easier. Search this blog for aweber to read how I am adding subscribers to my sites. I will be adding a new post soon that will outline how you can then monetize those mailing lists as well via adsense, affiliate programs or products sales.

    Hi Brian,

I have been reading your articles and sites recently (I’m very thankful I found your site, I am so tired of all the obviously empty promises). What I would like to see more on is “How to actually get started”. I am new to the internet marketing world, I signed up for some of the affiliates you mentioned on your other site, and I am building a website, but I have no idea where to go from there. Also, you mentioned being willing to work with people who signed up for the affiliate programs you are promoting…I would be very interested in that as well. I am planning on spending the next 2 or 3 months basically learning to drive traffic to my site, manage my site, etc (per your advice). Any articles you can write on that would be greatly helpful as well.

P.S. I tried to contact you from the super affiliate program contact page, but i keep getting error messages. Thought you would like to know.
