Google Supplemental Got Ya Down?

Many webmasters have asked for tips or advice on the issue of the Google supplemental index. While their is no quick and easy “cure all” I do have several strategies that have helped to keep newer pages out (domains) as well as some long term strategies that push additional pages into the “proper” index.

In the end I have found that ranking online today is about 75% inbound links (and not any old links but quality links) and *unique enough* content.

Below I have broken up my thoughts in two videos

Part 1)

Part 2)

Your thought on staying out of the Sup Index?

Your information is good. It would be better with some screen shoots.

By the way, Part 2 is the same as Part 1.

Thanks for the heads up, yes the audio is rough. In the end though I think you can understand me ok, I went with the “flip video camera” that allows me to easily create videos and then converts the video format for youtube.com and other video sharing services online.

I did not want to spend hours with video’s, rather I wanted to be able to capture video quickly and easily and get my point across. One can get lost in the tech side which can result in a loss of time.

Being that this is a free resource I need to streamline my “production” … thanks for noting the same video was used twice. Part two is now online as it should be ….

So what is your experiance with the Google Supplemental index?

I too, would prefer it in text rather than video as I am usually surfing your site while in a busy office when noone’s looking.

      Steve,

Nice to have you hear, maybe stop by the site when you have time to fully listen and watch the video’s.
