Seo Blog Plugin For Wordpress - Related Entries

While wordpress is a state of the art blogging platform their are several elements missing including some important seo optimisation principles that I like to put into place with my websites. No problem however as wordpress allows for customisation in numerous ways. One simple way to extend wordpress is though plugins, the following plugin is used on this site to add additional anchor text to pages and posts alike.

When activated the plugin searches all post and page titles and score each entry and then lists those with the highest score as “Related Entries”. This is great for seo on a number of different levels including spidering (new posts could easily link to posts that are old but yet relevant) as well as added anchor text to other posts or pages within a site.
